JOE MARTHALER
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Joe began his professional flying career in 1995, when he served as an On-Demand Charter service pilot. His career has consisted of becoming the Chief Pilot of a Fortune 75 corporation and an Adjunct Professor of Aviation. Joe is the Director of Operations at Jet Air LLC.
A native of Cincinnati, Joe holds a Master of Science Degree in Aeronautics with a Dual Specialization in Management & Safety from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
CHANCE MARTHALER
CAPTAIN
Chance began his Jet Air career in 2022. Initially he served as a part-time pilot, but quickly, he expanded his career, which now includes being a Captain on the Lear 60, the department’s Training Manager, and the Safety Manager for Jet Air’s Safety Management System.
A native of Kentucky, Chance graduated from Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) with an Associate Degree in Aviation Maintenance. Upon completion of his studies, he will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management from Southern Illinois University (SIU) at Carbondale.
